How do I book?

First, review my price list to determine which session fits your budget or specifically meets your needs. Next, complete the contact form in its entirety so that I am able to determine your inquiry.Third, review my scheduling calendar and select your desired date and estimated shooting time.After selecting your date, you can submit a deposit by entering your credit/debit card information into the prepayment form. I will review all of your information and send you a message if I have further questions before accepting your inquiry. Once your appointment has been accepted, I will send a contract to the email provided. Once the contract is reviewed and signed, we are all set! I will follow up with you at least two weeks before your session to discuss your concept and your overall vision for your session

Do you require a retainer fee? If so, how much? 

Yes, standard packages will require a non refundable retainer fee from the valued session price. The retainer fee will be deducted from your session cost. After accepting your session inquiry, all retainer fees are refundable up to 24 hours. If you decide to cancel your session after the 24 hour time limit has passed, your retainer fee is non-refundable.

Retainer fees are transferable up to 365 days if you decide to reschedule your session to a new date. You are given on one free rescheduling credit. After this rescheduling credit is used, you will have pay a rescheduling fee to switch to a new date.

Please note that all sessions must be rescheduled before the deadline which is 2 hours before your session date/time. Once this deadline has passed, you will have to pay a rescheduling fee to switch to a new date.


How can I schedule a consultation with you?

Consultations are scheduled by completing the contact form in entirety to help me determine the kind of session you are scheduling. A consultation fee is required for potential clients to ensure that our time is not being wasted. Consultations allow me to demonstrate the value of my service, ideas and time. All details of your session will be discussed once you’ve officially paid the consultation fee.


Do you shoot photography or videography at events such as baby showers or birthday parties?


Yes, I do! I charge $250 for a minimum of 2 hours. Additional time is $100 per hour. I enjoy shooting at small intimate and personal settings. A minimum of 2 Hours are required when scheduling for events. Maximum number of required hours for events is 4 hours.


Do you shoot at weddings?

Yes I do!


How do you accept payment?

Debit/credit card in-person or via invoice

I no longer accept Cash App, Venmo, Zelle or exact cash as a form of payment methods.

Can you hold a date for me? 

I am sorry I cannot “hold” dates for anyone. Your date is not secure until you have officially booked your date, reviewed my contract and placed your deposit. 

Do you travel?

Yes, I'd love to travel to wherever you are located to take some awesome photos. There will be an additional charge for traveling if you are located more than 35 miles away from Vacherie, LA.

What should I expect before my session? 

After your deposit is received, and prior to your session, we will have a phone consultation to workout the details and to ensure all of your questions have been answered. However, you can always let me know your vision and/or ideas for your session leading up to your session date.

What's the best time of day to take photos? 

Early morning or early evening before sunset are the best times to shoot outdoors. The time may vary at different parts of the year.


What time should I arrive to my session?

I always advise my clients to arrive and be ready to shoot about 15 minutes before our session begins so we are all set and ready to shoot! Please make every effort to be on time so that you can receive your full session. 

How long will my session last? 

Session times vary, but most sessions last between 45-60 minutes.

Can we bring our dogs?

Yes! All pups are welcome! Just bring along a relative or friend to help with your sweet fur baby because you will need someone to watch your dog when we are getting other shots. Trust me, you wont regret it!

Can we bring props?


Yes, you can bring props.. chairs, blankets, signs, bouquet, flower crowns, hats, ultrasounds pictures, etc.


What is a styled session?

A styled or concept photo shoot is created to inspire creativity in the between the model and photographer as well as create and build networks, and to create or build a portfolio. A styled shoot is something you can do to enhance your portfolio usually in a new location - to reach a completely new market and help you rebrand! Other photo session inquires besides branding or editorial content are classified as mini sessions.

Where will we take our photos? 

Locations are only discussed after the session deposit is paid. The location will be based on scenery that would compliment your outfits and style. I am also open to any suggestions you have for locations. 

Do you have a studio?

Yes, but I do not own my own studio. A $100 fee is deducted from the valued price for studio sessions and sent directly to the studio owner to hold your date. Studio times may vary depending on hours of operation. The address to the studio will be sent once your appointment is reviewed and accepted on my website. Your remaining balance is paid immediately after the session is completed.


How long will it take to get my images? What is the process for this?

When you book a portrait session, the turnaround time for is 7 to 14 days from the date you select your images. Once your session is completed, I will send you an email with all of the images from your session. You will be able to select the images you love the most for editing.

When booking a wedding, the turnaround time for a full wedding gallery is 30 days from the date of your wedding. 

What are Sneak Peeks?

Sneak peeks are roughly 5 to 10 images delivered 3 to 4 days after the wedding for sharing on social media and with family and friends.

The images of the full gallery will not be watermarked. 

How many images do I get in my full wedding gallery?

A wedding gallery contains about 50 images per hour of shooting. For example, if I am shooting an 8 hour wedding day, you will receive approximately 400 images. As your wedding photographer, I want to make sure I can capture all the important moments and quality over quantity is important. You won’t receive duplicate images and each image has a certain amazing spark!

Are my final wedding images edited?

All of the final images from a wedding are cropped, straightened and color corrected. Some of the sneak peek images given for wedding galleries are retouched.

Do you have a payment plan?

Yes, I currently offer a payment plan so that you are able to book your wedding date and make reasonable payments on your account. Payment is due in full one week prior to the wedding date.

What happens if it rains?  

Weather can be so tricky in Louisiana. I'll watch the forecast closely, and if rain is very likely for our scheduled date, I will contact you to reschedule for the next available date.

What happens if I arrive late to my session?

Please respect my time and yours and arrive on time. Being late or not ready to start will cut into our shooting time. There is an additional $25 late fee for clients who are more than 30 minutes late. Session end times will not be extended to accommodate client lack of punctuality. If you are late to your session, there is a possibility your session will be canceled or that your time may be cut short.

Please note that if your shoot is scheduled for 1 hour and you arrive 25 minutes late, you will have 35 minutes to take photos. Showing up more than 30 minutes late may result in a forfeit of your session date.

If you want to extend the session: 

An additional 15 minutes will be $15. 

An additional 30 minutes will be $25. 

An additional hour will be $35.

Can I change my session time?

Yes! If you would like to change your time on the day of your session, you can send me a message via text and we can coordinate a time that would work out better for your schedule. No additional fees will be charged if you would like to change the time of your session.

I highly suggest that I am notified in less than 48 hours of your session time about your request to change your session time. 

We can reschedule up to one time in the case of an emergency or non weather related reasons. Please keep in mind that availability is limited so the next available date may not be for a few weeks or longer. Reschedule session must occur within 3 months from original session date.

How can I reschedule my session to a new date?

In the event that you would like to reschedule, you are allowed one rescheduling credit when given a 2 day notice before the scheduled session date. The rescheduled session must take place within 3 months. Any additional request to reschedule will incur a $25 rescheduling fee and must be paid immediately to reserve a new date.

What if I have to cancel my session? 

Unfortunately, If you want to cancel your session no money will be refunded. You can change your date ONCE free of charge if not due to weather related issues.

If you miss the entire session you would have to rebook a new session. A rescheduling fee will be applied.

Do you send unedited images or proofs after the session?

Yes, I will send the unedited proofs to your email via Pixieset.com. This will allow you to select your favorite images. Your selection should be based on your overall vision for your session. Ignore any bad colors or crooked photos. These features will be fixed through the post production process. 

When you edit photos, what exactly do you edit?

I do color corrections, blemish removal, skin smoothing, teeth whitening and stretch mark removal. I do NOT alter your body. It’s important to love yourself just the way that you are.


When will I receive my images after my photo session?

All images are sent digitally and delivered to you within 3 to 7 days from the date you selected favorite images in your photo album.


Can I purchase prints from you?

No, I do not offer prints on my site. However, I strongly advise that you download the images to a reliable hard drive or computer to avoid losing your digital pictures. If you would like to print out your images, I suggest that you print them at a local printing station in your area.

If the printing station that you chose requested a print release form, a print release agreement is sent to you via email once you have received your final images.

How long will my photos be available on your website? 

It is suggested that you download your photos and save them immediately on a reliable hard drive. Your photos will be available on an online gallery for up to six months. If you lose your photo album, please contact me so that I can retrieve this information for you.

What type of equipment do you use?

I have a Nikon d7200. I mainly use the 35mm f1.8 lens and 50mm f1.8 lens when shooting portraits.
